Merry Christmas
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward man! This was the announcement the multitude of heavenly hosts made when Jesus was born into this earth all those many years ago and this month I would like to draw your attention to one very specific part of that glorious announcement. Did you ever notice that the angels did not say “bad will” toward men? God’s will for your life is GOOD! As a matter of fact, if you look up that phrase “good will” in the concordance of Greek words, it means “satisfaction, delight, kindness, desire and good pleasure.” I don’t see anything in there about sadness, depression, sickness, poverty, disaster or despair!
