Are you a parent? If so, I want you to think for a moment about what you taught your children about electricity. If you’re not a parent, think back to what you were taught about electricity. If you are like most people I know, the lessons taught included such things as not sticking metal utensils in the electrical outlet and that water and electrical appliances don’t go well together! Also included, however, was how to flip the breaker to get the electricity back on in the house or how to safely and correctly jump start a car battery. In other words, you taught or were taught about the laws of electricity so that you could not only safely handle it but so that you could use it to your advantage. You can do that because the ways that electricity functions are the same all the time. Those physical laws are constant and therefore can be depended upon!
