God is on Our Side

 Remember this: It is YOUR time to THRIVE in 2025!


That is what the Lord instructed me to tell our friends and Partners as we entered into 2025 and He connected it to Jeremiah 29:11.


“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,

thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil,

to give you hope in your final outcome.”

Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC


We need to constantly remind ourselves that God, our Heavenly Father, is ALWAYS for us and NEVER against us!


“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

The Lord is on my side and takes my part, He is among those

who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established

upon those who hate me.”

Psalm 118:6-7 AMPC


READ THAT AGAIN!


Do you grasp the magnitude of that?! The Being Who created the universe, and is still expanding it at a rate of over 400 billion miles per day, is on YOUR side!

It’s no wonder that the Apostle Paul said what he did in Romans chapter eight!


“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us,

who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]”

Romans 8:31 AMPC


He goes on to say that, even though tribulations, distresses, persecutions, famines, lack and insufficiency, peril, sword and even killing exist in the world, we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS over them through our Jesus!


And one of the reasons we are more than conquerors over all these things is found just a few verses earlier in that same chapter!


“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for

we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the

Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings

which cannot be uttered.”

Romans 8:26 KJV


Now, that’s a little obscure to us in the King James Version. But, if you do a little digging around in the concordance, you will find that you could translate the fist part of that verse this way. . .


Likewise, the Spirit Himself takes hold together with us against our infirmities!

Wow! The Holy Spirit Himself. Personally! Taking hold with us!


Not only that, look over at the book of Hebrews with me!


“In keeping with [the oath's greater strength and force], Jesus

has become the Guarantee of a better (stronger) agreement [a more

excellent and more advantageous covenant]. Therefore He is able

also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all

time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He

is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him

and intervene for them. [Here is] the High Priest

[perfectly adapted] to our needs,”

Hebrews 7:22, 25-26a AMPC


OK, we’re going to have to READ THAT ONE AGAIN as well!


I absolutely LOVE that last part!


Here is the High Priest perfectly adapted to our needs!


He knows what you were like! He knows what I was like! He knows what all mistakes we have made, and still make! And, here’s the deal: Even knowing all of that, not only is He on our side but He knows all of the good plans the Father has for us AND He knows precisely what to pray for those plans to happen in each and every one of our lives! And, He’s praying that very thing ALL THE TIME!


Oh, glory to God!


Pray this with me, “Dear Heavenly Father, even though I may not currently know the details of all the plans You have for me, I do know You are on my side and ALL Your plans for me are good! I also know that my Jesus knows what they are, how to get them to me, and is praying precisely what needs prayed to make it happen! Right now, I set myself in agreement with what He’s praying for me AND I open the ears of my heart to hear instructions from the Holy Spirit for my part to do! I know that, as I do my part, the Holy Spirit will take hold together with me, we’ll get it done and I will enjoy the victory you have planned for me in every area of life in Jesus name!”

Man was Created by God to Have Authority

God creates with words.  He created Adam in His own image with words of dominion (Genesis 1:26). In Adam, He reproduced Himself. God gave Adam His own authority over everything on this planet and crowned him with His glory (Psalm 8:4-5). He did not create Adam and then appoint him as His manager. He created Adam to rule - a living, speaking spirit, like his Creator. It is man’s nature to rule just as it is God’s nature to rule.
