Writing the Vision

 And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.  Habakkuk 2:2 AMPC

Recently, I was asked, “When someone invites LeRoy Thompson to minister, they know they are going to get ‘Money Cometh.’ What do they know they are going to get when they invite David Weeter to come minister?”

After I answered them, I was strongly impressed in my spirit that I needed to share again the vision of David Weeter Ministries, Lynn, and my assignment from the Lord.

As of January 2016, I had been traveling full-time with Brother Kenneth Copeland for 18 years. During that month of January, we were in California, and the Lord said to me, “To whom much is given, much is required.”  I replied, “Yes, sir?”  He continued, “I have placed you in a place of almost total immersion in My Word of Faith. I have placed you with him (Brother Copeland) everywhere He goes – even on vacation.  If you don’t begin to give out, what is in you will begin to stagnate and become unfruitful in your own life.” He then began to deal with me about making short teaching videos using my cell phone.  I could do that from almost anywhere.

I was somewhat reluctant, and so I went to Brother Copeland to ask him what he thought about it.  He responded, “I don’t know why you’re talking to me about it.  You need to get your job done!”

Well, alright then! Little did I know what the Lord would say next!  Fast forward to April 20, 2017.  I had just returned from one of my first ministry trips, and the Word of the Lord came through Brother Copeland prophetically to Lynn and me, and our eldest son Ryan was also with us:  “You weren’t called to (he listed a couple of things I did for him).  You are called as a minister of the gospel.  You are called to preach, teach, and heal.  It has already begun with this trip.  It will be more and more, and will eventually be full-time.  You will preach to far more people than I ever have!” 

What?!  Are you kidding me?  I really struggled with that!  But the Lord always helps us!  On October 28, 2018, during my ordination service, the Lord had Brother Copeland minister these words to me.  “We thank you, Lord Jesus, for Your anointing rising upon this young man, bringing Your perfect plan to pass as You have ordained it before the foundation of the world. Be it done unto you, David Weeter, as God has spoken and as God has declared.  By faith, we impart into you every gift, every Holy Spirit endowment from on high, every anointing necessary to carry out the calling unto which you are called and into which you are separated at this time.”

The following year, on June 29, 2019, the Lord confirmed His Word again through Brother Copeland and Brother Jerry Savelle while we were together in Lagos, Nigeria.  They laid hands on me and they thanked God for the development of David Weeter Ministries and declared that we would minister “not to hundreds, not to thousands, but to tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, and then into the millions and the world.” What a tremendous honor AND responsibility!

But what specific message would the Lord have me take to the world?  That is the question I asked Him, and over the course of several months, He made it very clear, culminating in this instruction.

“I want you to perpetuate your heritage of the Word of faith.  Throughout your entire life, you have never listened to anyone except for Brother Kenneth E. Hagin and Brother Kenneth Copeland.  I want you to perpetuate THAT specifically and place a STRONG emphasis on the fact that it works through love!”

So, what do people get when they invite David Weeter to minister?  The Word of faith, born out of a very specific, very strong heritage, and how the love of God makes that faith efficient, effective, and mighty!

Why am I telling you all of this? The simple answer is BECAUSE WE ARE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS!  We are in this assignment and calling TOGETHER!  As a Partner and friend, you have a right to know these things.

As a Partner, that means that Heaven records it that YOU impact every single one of those millions! Every person born again, every person healed, every person learning how to live in victory – YOU DID IT!

As a Partner, with this knowledge, you have more accuracy in your prayers for us.  Your prayers mean more to us than you know!  Also, as a Partner, you have every right to know what your finances are being sown into and the harvest it will produce.

Finally, I am obeying the instruction of an elder statesman in the body of Christ and a good friend. He told me, “David, you have had over 25 years of personal, one-on-one impartation from Kenneth Copeland. You were everywhere he went. No one else on the face of the planet can say that. That’s what you bring to the table that no one else can, and you MUST let people know!”

So, now you know!

Lynn and I love you so much, and we are grateful that you are on this journey with us! Thank you for sharing the vision with us and agreeing with us for its completion. The Lord is faithful, who has called us, and He will do it. And we all get to go along on the ride!
